Homestead or Milk Cow Calves

This little one was born to Wren on August 25th, 2024. Wren is a mini-mid 50% Jersey 50% Belted Galloway bred to a registered mini-mid Jersey bull. This calf will make a fabulous homestead bull and would be great for a community of homesteads to share him. Being 25% beef—quality Belted Galloway too—and 75% Jersey (dairy), he will help offspring more easily keep weight on and require less feed as belties are foragers.

This little lady is Joy's calf. She was born on August 8th, 2024. Joy is a registered Jersey but was bred to a non-registered Jersey. We might be keeping this calf, but we haven't decided yet!

This furry, adorable little lady was born on June 27th, 2024. We didn't expect this calf! We thought Genevieve was bred to our mini-mid Jersey bull, but instead she had been bred by a young Belted Galloway bull at her previous owners. We're not complaining, though; this calf is too stinken cute! We're undecided on whether or not to keep this girl. We'll see how she grows and prospers; we like to keep beef calves with mama for at least 4 to 6 months anyway.
